Kelsey’s Boho Bridal Shower – Irvine, CA

A party would not be a party without details…and champagne! Kelsey’s bohemian bridal shower passed both these tests with flying colors. I was honored to be able to take part in styling this shower for my B.F.F.! What made it even more special was that it was planned by the bride’s sister/MOH and set up with the help of her entire family and bridesmaids. Now that’s a labor of LOVE!

First things first, whenever you’re having a gathering with your best girlfriends, you’ve gotta have a sparkly drink for the occasion! And what’s better than customizing your own glass of bubbly with a little summery fruit & juice? A festive build-your-own mimosa bar was the first stop for many of Kelsey’s attendees. Carafes, a cute homemade sign, some modern glassware from Baker Party Rental and a few bowls of everyone’s favorite fruits were all we needed to create a fun and colorful drink station.View More: More: More: commenced with a few snacks and desserts prepared and styled with the help of Kelsey’s mom, sister/MOH and bridesmaids. Heart-shaped rice krispy treats, chocolate dipped strawberries, it doesn’t get any sweeter! Since geodes & crystals were incorporated into Kelsey’s wedding theme & invitations, rock crystal detail was a must! And, of course, sugary rock candy sticks just sealed the deal.

Kelsey’s photo booth was a huge crowd pleaser, its structure built by none other than the father of the bride and draped with painter’s cloth and a eucalyptus garland. Photo props are always a fun addition to step the fun up a notch, and a great way to incorporate your wedding hashtag!
