winter styled shoot

We are so excited to present to you this charming winter photo shoot that we had so much fun planning! For our first shoot, we wanted to come up with a unique look that utilized a couple of our favorite texture elements of this wonderful season: Flannel and dried cotton! We hand-picked the fabric for our table overlay and used it as our primary inspiration for this shoot, which encouraged other choices like the navy blue pea coat our gorgeous bride wore as well as the cool tone of our carefully edited photos.

With dried cotton being the inspiration for our botanicals, we decided to design a bouquet that was organic in color and texture. Crystal white Amaryllis served as the focal flower and the perfect choice with Christmas just around the corner. Peonies, Star of Bethlehem, Queen Anne’s Lace, and free-flowing Plumosa fern (also used in the bride’s delicate crown) added to the whimsical quality we envisioned.
